From Conflict to Connection: 
Real Stories of Community Healing in Action 

Understanding our work is often best done by seeing it in action. Over many years, particularly across the Tiwi Islands, Darwin, Arnhem Land, Barkleys, Central Australia and across South Australia  we have worked alongside communities to design and facilitate projects that bring people together, even in the most complex and sensitive circumstances.

These short videos offer a window into that practice — how conversations are held, how trust is built, and how culturally responsive, community-led approaches can create space for meaningful dialogue and resolution.

Importantly, this work does not end with the mediation itself. A key strength of these projects is shaping a positive and grounded way forward — helping communities move beyond difficult moments with clarity, honour, and shared purpose.

The final part of the video highlights some of these outcomes, showing how healing, reconnection can be celebrated and that story can be shared and reshared.
